Refund policy
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. These laws do not apply outside of Australia.
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure where the item arrives in a non-working condition.
Generally, a major failure is when the item:
- has a known manufacturing problem that would have stopped you from buying the item if you had known about it;
- is significantly different from the sample (if applicable) or description;
- is substantially unfit for a purpose
If the problem is not major, you can contact us or Olympus to arrange a Warranty claim for any minor repairs. In the event of a major failure, we will replace the item once we have received the original item and determined the cause of failure.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to offer a return, refund or replacement for Clincam or photography accessories if:
- you simply changed your mind
- found an item cheaper somewhere else
- decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it
Damage caused by user error or custom C1 or C2 setting are changed by the user:
We do not offer a refund or replacement as a result of the user changing any of the C1 or C2 settings or causing damage to the camera as a result of misuse. If the settings are changed, you can start a repairs process with us by contacting us by email or phone. You will need to return the camera to us so that we can reset the camera. The cost of return postage will need to be covered by the customer.
